The iShares S&P MidCap 400 Value Index Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of U.S. mid-cap value stocks as represented by the S&P MidCap 400/Citigroup Value Index. The index measures performance of the mid-capitalization value sector of the U.S equity market. It is a subset ofthe S&P 400 Index, representing approximately 53% of the market capitalization of the Index. The index consists of stocks from a broad range of industries.
